Is this for you?
This isn't therapy, and it isn't 50 minutes of me asking you "how does that make you feel?". You bring a real problem—a conversation you need to have, a team that isn't performing, a decision you're stuck on—and we leave with a concrete plan for what you'll do next.
Think less "life coach," and more "the person who's already made your mistakes and will tell you how to avoid repeating them."
Good fit
- First-time managers who need a playbook. You don't have anyone at work you can be honest with about it.
- Senior or staff engineers who've hit the glass ceiling. You can't tell if the problem is the company, the role, or something about how you operate.
- People who've read every management book. You're done with the idealistic version and you're ready for practical advice.
- Engineers and managers sick of being handed the "what." You're ready to go from order-taker to change-maker.
Not a good fit
- You want a pure coach who only asks questions and never gives you an answer. I'll tell you what I'd actually do.
- You're not leading people (or anything else) and don't want to be. If you're after architecture opinions or design pattern debates, I'm not your rubber duck.
- You want your resume rewritten or your LinkedIn profile polished. I'll help you find the real story behind your career and a compelling way to deliver it, but I won't run your job search for you.
- You're early-career and still building your core technical chops. I focus on folks already in or transitioning to leadership positions.
